Bakwan Sayur is often used as a snack or a friend to eat rice. The savory and crunchy taste is liked by everyone. Bakwan prices are also relatively cheap, and easy to make. It only requires flour, various kinds of vegetables and spices which are mixed into a dough and then fried.

Vegetables that are commonly used for bakwan mix are cabbage, beans, bean sprouts, carrots, or you can also add shrimp and anchovies to the mixture. Serve with cayenne pepper or your favorite chili sauce to make it more delicious.

    Mix and stir well, flour, ground spices, eggs, shrimp and vegetables, add water little by little until you get the right consistency (medium thickness dough).

    Heat cooking oil, take a spoonful of dough, fry until golden brown on both sides, remove and drain.

    Serve warm with cayenne pepper.
  • TIPS

    Do not knead the bakwan dough by hand because it will be tough, use a spatula.
